NEW PHONE MEETINGS
Beginning Nov. 14, 2011, there will be two new meetings per week day (Monday thru Friday, 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Pacific) that members can attend by phone. See District 8 website for details.
NEW MA MEETING IN S.F.
Beginning Nov. 12, 2011, the "On A Mission" group of MA will meet on Saturdays from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Om Shan Tea, 233-14th Street, San Francisco. The meeting begins with 10 minutes of silent meditation followed by open discussion. See schedule for more information.
DISTRICT SERVICE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Some positions remain unfilled after the September election, so we are looking for volunteers to come and get involved. There's a well known 12-step saying: Service keeps you sober. Think about it. See the DSC page for details.
PUBLIC INFORMATION FUND
District 1 has been raising money to help spread the word of MA in the local area. The District Service Committee would like to hear your ideas for how to use our funds. Contact our Public Information chair, Sam B, or your GSR.
2012 CONVENTION TALENT SHOW
There will be a talent show on Friday, February 17, 2012, at the MA Convention in Santa Clara, hosted by District 3. They are looking for poets, jugglers, rappers, contortionists, pole dancers, pole vaulters, Polish sausage stuffers, acrobats, people who don't know how to do anything, people who do anything... you get the idea.
